Gingers Tale is released at theaters

On February, 4th , 2021 the animated feature ‘Ginger’s Tale’ directed by Konstantin Shchekin is released at theaters in Russia.

The feature is produced  in traditional technology of hand-drawn animation. The unique style from the production designer Vasily Krasnikov reveals the story to the viewer in all colors and shades.

The characters  of the film “Ginger’s Tale” are dubbed  by famous and beloved actors:

Peter Kovrizhnyh (Potter), Natalya Tereshkova (Ginger),  Sergey Burunov (Ups!), Irina Yakovleva (Queen), Alexander Oleshko (Padlock), Edgar Zapashny (Firefighter), Alexey Elistratov (Awl), Yuri Askarov (Shoe), Nikita Prozorovsky (Archivist), Vasily Mishchenko (Doctor), Lyudmila Gnilova (Mistress), Oleg Yesenin (Сat and Zheka).

…Poor Potter finds the ancient magical Flint, which brings Potter money, but at the same time makes him cruel. The evil Queen, in order to take possession of the artifact, decides to crack down on the Potter, and his faithful girlfriend – the restless and located girl Ginger – rushes to the rescue, confronts the evil and tries to conjure Flint.

Sophisticated music and songs by Arthur Baidot immerse the viewer in a fairy tale, giving the film brightness, individuality and originality. Let’s dance! For the animation of the dances, the picture uses professional choreography staged by the beautiful and famous – Irina Kashuba.

‘Ginger’s Tale’  was presented at a number of international film festivals: Annecy International Animation Film Festival (France), Shanghai International Film Festival (China), Scandinavian International Film Festival (Finland) – Prize for Best Animated Film, 10th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival (Delhi, India ) – Prize for Best Animated Film, Prague Independent Film Festival (Czech Republic), Maracay International Film & Video Festival (Venezuela).
